Summary : Injection therapy with placental extract as an adjunct to the antibiotic therapy appears : to be useful in the treatment of pelvic infection. By this treatment inflammatory process and ovarian function were improved and brought back to normal in 95% of the cases as compared to only 70% in the control group. Regression and complete disappearance of the tuboovarian masses was seen in 95% of the cases in the study group and 60% in the control group. Tubal patency was established in 60% of the sterility cases as compared to 38% in the control group.
