Placentrex (aqueous extract of fresh placenta) 2 ml intramuscularly daily or alternate days (total of 14 injections) has multipronged anti-inflammatory action. It also causes tissue regeneration, wound healing, has significant immunotropic action involving both humoral and cellular immunity.
